This position falls under the supervision of the Principal, Assistant Principal, and the Junior High Lead Teacher. This position has the responsibility for the leadership and management of the classes assigned; strives to achieve the goals of Catholic education; develops and implements a daily instructional program according to the needs of the students and the established curriculum; maintains accurate records of attendance, scholastic achievement, etc. as required by the school, diocese, and state; establishes positive public relations within and outside the school community; continued professional development. Candidates should have a background in teaching Language Arts, Religion and History. Bachelor’s degree or higher required. Experience at the Junior High level is preferred. Ideal candidate would possess NJ certification (Standard, CEAS or CE) Requires Background Check and Virtus Training prior to/upon hiring.
